2008 Moose Hunt Price/Tag Options

All hunts for which prices are quoted refer to seven-day hunts. Extra days may be purchased at a flat rate per day – per camp, depending on the number of hunters (see rates below) where such days are available. So that all hunt parties have an equal chance at the main rut, we have a maximum of two hunts per season on each lake. Fly-ins and fly-outs are about noon on the applicable day.

Important - All prices in the following pages are quoted in US Dollars. Prices are for Bowhunters only, and do not include licenses, sales taxes or guides. Hunters should add approximately 8% for net sales taxes and approximately $310 US for each hunting license to all prices quoted. Cost of Guides for a seven-day hunt = $1,200 US — split among hunting party. If guides are hired for extra days, guide fees for extra days will be charged for on a pro-rated basis at $170 US per day.

All prices quoted will be guaranteed (subject only to availability of adult moose tags which are allotted to outfitters on an annual basis) to any party booking and sending in a deposit before January15, 2008. Prices may be revised to meet cost increases after that date. The Minimum Deposit to book is 35% of the total cost of the package chosen.

YOUR PRICE FOR A FLY-IN MOOSE HUNT INCLUDES:
Fly In/Out to Private Lake -- Seven-Day Accommodations on Lake with Boats/Motors/Gas for the Hunt -- Free Fly Out of Moose Harvested -- Excellent Fishing -- Regular checks by outfitter. (Fly-in gear & food weight restrictions of 125# per person apply to all members of a party). Extra weight or large bulky items requiring the use of larger aircraft than would be normal for a party’s size will be subject to extra flight charges. Think light and compact!

LARGER HUNTING PARTIES AND HUNTING CLUBS: —Parties of or more are able to be accommodated on either larger lakes or by splitting them up on two lakes. Simply combine any of the options above to your best advantage and then deduct $30 per person to get your total costs.

YOUR ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

PURCHASE OF ONTARIO NON-RESIDENT MOOSE LICENCE, EXPORT PERMIT AND FISHING LICENCE-- plus applicable Provincial & Federal SalesTaxes (approximately 8% net).
You are also responsible for your own hunting/fishing gear, overweight fly-in charges, personal effects, food & drink, sleeping bag, life jacket, and your own tree stands & tree steps if you use tree stands. All hunt facilities have beds & pillows with one exception: you must bring your own pillow for the tent-camp hunt on Get Lost Lake.

Fish for walleye, northern pike and lake trout at our resort on Red Lake or fly in to one of seven remote outposts located north of Red Lake.
